Sortti Mini Station reception fees for household customers
eSortti.fi – Make your visit faster
- Declare the waste you are delivering and, if necessary, pay for it in advance. You can also use the service just to estimate the price of your waste load.
- Enter your car’s registration number in the web service; your car will then be recognised at the gate of the Sortti Station and it will open automatically. Alternatively, the gate can be opened using the QR code you received.
- Unload your waste in the correct collection points at the station. If necessary, ask our staff for advice.

Visit the Sortti Mini Station in Koivukylä, Vantaa to drop off household items and pieces of furniture that are not suitable for reuse by the Reuse Centre. The size of the load and the amount of waste you can drop off is limited because the station has smaller facilities than the regular Sortti Stations. The services of the Sortti Mini Station are meant for households. See details, location and opening hours.
The accepted payment methods are eSortti.fi advance payment, payment cards or an invoice when using your Sortti card.
Waste free of charge
We do not charge a fee for scrap metal that has been sorted separately.
Drop off electric and electronic waste and hazardous household waste at the Reuse Centre’s reception point. There is also a Rinki ecopoint for packaging waste in the yard area of the Reuse Centre.

Plastic
There is a separate collection skip for plastic. NB! Styrofoam and PVC are not accepted for plastic collection; they must be sorted as mixed waste. Plastic packaging is collected separately free of charge at Rinki ecopoints. Plastic packaging waste can also be placed in the plastic collection at the Sortti Station, but the fee is the same as for other plastic.

Non-combustible waste

- Window and mirror glass
- Porcelain and glassware
- Toilet seats, sinks and tubs
- Gypsum board containing impurities
NB! Do not place metal items or asbestos in non-combustible waste.

Combustible mixed waste
Sort large (over 50 x 50 x 100 cm) and small items of waste onto their respective collection container. Combustible mixed waste includes:
- Spring mattresses
- Armchairs and sofas
- Styrofoam
- PVC
- Refuse sacks containing mixed combustible waste
NB! Do not place metal items in combustible mixed waste.

Wood, coated
Sort the following onto the coated wood container:
- Chipboard and hardboard
- Painted and varnished wood
- Parquet, MDF board
- Wooden furniture and doors
No need to remove nails or fittings. Remove larger pieces of metal, fabric and glass.

Other fees
Please note that we charge the treatment costs for incorrectly sorted waste in accordance with the waste type in question, as well as the costs of cleaning, office and expert work caused by the incorrect sorting according to the price list.

HSY charges cleaning and processing costs on a case-by-case basis for asbestos waste left at Sortti Stations in violation of the instructions (€0–5,000).
For safety reasons, asbestos is only received at the Ämmässuo eco-industrial centre: small batches at the Ämmässuo Sortti Station and truck loads as well as large batches at the Ämmässuo eco-industrial centre. HSY charges cleaning and processing costs for asbestos waste that has been sorted in violation of the instructions.
The cost consists of cleaning and packaging, transport and a waste treatment fee. In addition, the cost is affected by the quantity and quality of the waste. If necessary, the work is carried out by an asbestos contractor.
